The European Peptide Society is pleased to announce the ‘Virtual Peptide Social Hour’ on Zoom, an initiative organized by N. Hartrampf (Switzerland), A. Conibear (Australia) and W. Hartsock (US). This hour long event consists of three, 15-minute breakout rooms which promote discussion and provide networking opportunities between diverse members of the peptide community. So far, two events took place in December 2020 and January 2021, with participants from Europe, Australia, Africa and the US on every career level. The aim is to reach peptide scientists from as many locations and backgrounds as possible, therefore time zones are being set to accommodate the different locations. The next event on Wednesday 3rd February 2021 will be early morning in Europe (09:00 CET)/afternoon in Asia.
