French-Italian Joint Meeting GFPP24

June 22nd to 26th, 2025

Time to the meeting

On behalf of the French Group of Peptides and Proteins (GFPP) and Italian Peptide Society (ItPS), we have the great pleasure to invite you to the  French-Italian Joint Meeting GFPP24 organized by the French and Italian Peptide and Protein Societies from June 22nd to 26th, 2025.

The event will be held near the French-Italian border, in the Centre Paul Langevin conference center, operated by the CNRS and located in the alpine village of Aussois (France). The meeting will allow us to renew the long-standing tradition of GFPP conferences held in Aussois (but this time in summer!) and is expected to be a great success, bringing together for the first time the Italian and French communities in the field.

The scientific program will cover various themes in the fields of peptides and proteins, addressing cutting-edge topics and featuring prestigious international speakers.
A considerable part of the congress program will be dedicated to communications presented by young scientists: more than 20 oral presentations will be selected from submitted abstracts, and ample space will be available for poster communications, along with some flash poster presentations.

The proceedings of the congress will be published in the form of an abstract book, and partners who agree to sponsor this congress will be acknowledged upfront in this book, as well as on the GFPP website.

Topics covered by the meeting:

  • Peptides of natural origin
  • Cell penetrating peptides
  • Antimicrobial peptides
  • Peptides and Proteins structure elucidation
  • NMR and Molecular Modeling
  • Methodology of synthesis of non-natural and non-canonical amino acids and peptides
  • Metallopeptides / Metalloenzymes / Bioinspired catalysis / Peptidomimetics / Foldamers
  • Drug discovery
  • Biomaterials
  • Vectorization
  • Chemical biology / Bioconjugates / Ligation
  • Self-assembly / Supramolecular edifices
